Nucleus UI 3.0

This is a big one, folks. We've packed a lot into this update:

• Full Auto Layout:

  All our components now use Auto Layout. This means they'll resize and adjust automatically based on their content. No more manual tweaking needed.

• Slot Method Layout:

  We've introduced a new way to structure components. It's called the slot method, and it gives you way more flexibility in how you customize things.

• Typography Variables:

  We've added typography variables. Now you can control your text styles across your entire design system from one place. It's a huge time-saver.

• E-commerce and Marketing Patterns:

  We've added a bunch of new patterns specifically for e-commerce sites and marketing pages. If you're working on anything in those areas, these should speed things up for you.

• Solid Icons:

  You asked, we delivered. We now have a full set of solid icons to go along with our line icons.

• More Line Icons:

  Speaking of icons, we've added a ton of new line icons too. More choices for everyone!

• Avatars:

  We've added a new set of avatar styles to the Style Library. They're fully customizable, so you can make them fit your brand.

• 30+ Mobile Kit Components:

  We've added a bunch of new components to the mobile kit. This should give you more options when you're designing for phones and tablets.

• 50+ Icons:

  We've expanded the icon library with new categories. You'll find new icons for gestures, charts, notifications, smart home stuff, and furniture.

• Web: E-commerce Kit:

  If you're working on an online store, check out our new e-commerce kit. It's got all the basic components you'll need to get started.

• Bug Fixes:

  We've fixed a handful of bugs that some of you reported. Thanks for letting us know about those!

• Mobile Kit: Paywall and More:

  We've added some new components to the mobile kit, including a paywall component. Useful if you're working on a subscription-based app.

• New Icons:

  We've added more icons. Always more icons.

• Bug Fixes:

  Fixed some bugs here and there. Nothing major, but it should make things run a bit smoother.

• Web Admin UI: Kit and Patterns:

  This is a big one for anyone working on admin panels or dashboards. We've added a whole set of components and patterns specifically for admin UIs.

• 30 New Icons:

  We've added 30 new icons across different categories. You'll find new ones in the general, tech, and weather categories.

• Bug Fixes:

  Fixed up some small issues. Nothing you'd probably notice, but it's good to keep things tidy.

• Mobile Kit: More Components:

  We've beefed up the mobile kit with more components. Should give you more options when you're designing for mobile.

• Icons: New Tech Icon Set:

  We've added a new set of tech-themed icons. Handy if you're working on anything in the tech space.

• Bug Fixes:

  Squashed some bugs. The usual stuff.

• New Components:

  • Accordion: Good for when you need to hide and show content.
  • Breadcrumb: Helps users know where they are in a site structure.
  • Button Group: For when you need to group related buttons together.

• 50+ New Mobile and Desktop Kits:

  We've added a lot of new kits for both mobile and desktop. Should give you a head start on a bunch of different types of projects.

• Developer-Friendly Improvements:

  We've cleaned up how we name layers in the desktop kits. Should make it easier when you're handing off designs to developers.

• Bug Fixes:

  Fixed some small issues here and there.

Nucleus UI 2.0 & 2.1

This was a big update. We changed a lot of stuff under the hood:

• Variables:

  We've added variables for colors and border radiuses. Makes it way easier to make big changes across your whole design.

• Light and Dark Mode:

  You can now switch between light and dark modes easily.

• Nested Instances:

  We've changed how our components are structured. You can now customize them more deeply with nested instances.

• Component Text Property:

  You've got more control over text in components now.

• Component Labels:

  We've changed how we label things. Basic components that are standard in both material and iOS are now just called 'components'. More complex stuff is now under 'kit components'.

• "Auto Layout Ready" Structure:

  We've set things up so you can use Auto Layout if you want, but you don't have to. If you turn on Auto Layout, everything will adjust automatically.

• More Mobile Kit Stuff:

  We've added more to the mobile kit. Always adding more to the mobile kit.
